We provide a distinctive approach using stand-up comedy for murder mystery dinners for a variety of groups and gatherings in Canada. Our professional stand-up comedians create a murder mystery on the spot using your audience as the suspects, witnesses and jury! This is show utilizing crowd work to create something custom-tailored to the audience in Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and most likely wherever you are!
Because this is a murder mystery that is made up on the fly, we can literally use any scenario that you can come up with. Remember that the scenario is a starting point. The mystery will then spin based on the input from the audience as we go along.
Before the event, we will want to know various people that are important to the attendees. Those are the people that we want to talk to. We might ask for a bit of background on them as well so that we can be a little more on-point.
The Detectives come in and announces that there has been a crime. The scenario is explained and the Detectives start to pull people from the audience to demonstrate the way that the show works and how they'll adapt to information provided. We can work straight through, but more often we hit-and-run. We will perform for 10-15 minutes, then let the audience eat or converse for a few minutes before resuming. We adapt to whatever level of service is being provided at the time, such as clearing plates, etc.
As with the rest of the show, it is completely adaptable. We have many ways to resolve the crime. Usually the audience is involved in the process and the characters that were scooped up along the way often are rewarded with applause and prizes.

While we improvise most of the show based on the audience and their reactions, we can theme the night any way you wish. This means we can create literally any scenario. Most of our clients, though, go with a more standard scenario such as the ones we use for our other shows. This includes mobsters, millionaires, the 1980's, the 1920's and just about any thing else you can think of!

We recycle, utilize local talent when preferable, and look to leave places better than we found them. When we do travel, we take pains to reduce our impact on the environment.

We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options and have a better feel for the resources required.
If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to provide less than we could realizing the resources that could be made available to better achieve your goals.
