We consult with you to discuss your birthday party and bring the best options based on our conversations that are custom-tailored to your group. This can include a variety of activities from murder mysteries and game shows, to fun characters and comedy. This can include options for a surprise, including our Ambush Murder Mystery.

Murder Mysteries

Our cast of detectives, mysterious suspects and plots are customized to your special events and adjust to your your desires. We have different approaches and themes to fit almost any group. our Ambush is especially effective for surprise birthday parties.

Game Shows

We engage the competitive spirit of partygoers and get them playing with one another and enjoying the fun. These are a lot of the TV styled shows as well as customized formats that we can create just for your family and friends. The celebrant can be made the center of attention and can even judge the contests. We can also have the audience compete to see who knows the celebrant the best.

Improv Comedy Shows

Improvisational comedy is a great way to have an ensemble entertain your group in a relaxed atmosphere. We can use this to get people laughing and having a shared experience and even incorporate your people in the show. We have several pieces that can bring the celebrant on stage with the comedians taking shots. This could also be done as a roast with our writers helping your friends.

Magic and Mentalism

We can bring a variety of magicians and mentalists to your event. They can perform by roaming through your group with one-on-one performances, or they can perform on stage in front of the group as a whole. This can also be adjusted for this kind of private event and can be done in ways to help the birthday boy or girl to shine in the eyes of everyone attending the party.!

Fun Characters

We can bring fun characters to interact with your groups. These can be for comedic value as well as to create a surprise in a variety of ways. With Santas, police, hotel managers, dates, and many other options, we can pep up any gathering. Our characters can interact with the audience and create situations that are designed to by slightly embarrassing and very fun!

Getting together with friends and family is all about having a great time. We help take the worry away as our professional staff and local performers will serve your needs. This should allow you to relax and enjoy the performance with your guests. After all, if it is your day, you should certainly enjoy it! And if you are organizing it for your friend, all the more reason that you should be allowed to reap the benefits.

Beyond friends and families, we can work with church groups, fraternal organizations, charities, PTA's, and just about any other type of group looking to entertain their members.

WE COME TO YOU !
We come to whatever venue that you choose. This can include any area restaurant, hotel, conference facility, convention hall or even someone's home. We work with the venue to ensure a smooth operation. This includes working with their team to coordinate their sound, stage and lighting. We can provide sound equipment, etc., as well, but for an additional fee, though we usually opt to use the venue's equipment. Of course for smaller groups, no equipment is required and not using microphones enhances the intimacy of the show.

THEY improv can provide Birthday Parties throughout Canada for your family events in The GTA (Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton), the rest of the Golden Horseshoe (Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and St. Catharines), the rest of Ontario (Ottawa, Waterloo Region, Windsor and London), Alberta (Banff, Medicine Hat, Calgary and Edmonton), British Columbia (Vancouver, North Van, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Victoria, Kamloops, and Whistler), Quebec (Quebec City, Mont Tremblant, Gatineau, and Montreal), Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Maritimes (Halifax in Nova Scotia, New Bruswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador), and many other locations. Likewise, our professionals can travel for an additional fee to other parts of the country.

ALBERTA

With Banff as a major destination for corporate retreats, we can provide a wide range of services. We also serve Calgary and Edmonton.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Whistler is a major destination for corporate retreats and is within range of our Vancouver regional HQ. We also serve the rest of the area and Victoria.

MANITOBA

We can help the companies and clients in Winnipeg as well as through the larger area as needed.

NOVA SCOTIA

We are proud to provide our programs from our regional HQ in Halifax. This allows for major consulting for local companies.

ONTARIO

Toronto is our regional HQ for Ontario, but we are proud to serve Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Ottawa, London and Windsor.

QUEBEC

While focused on our English-speaking clients, we provide our programs in Montreal, Quebec City and throughout the province. We serve the market with less providers.

WHAT IS THE OCCASION?

The first step is to determine your needs. This includes potential goals, desires and concerns. The more we know about what has already been decided can allow us to narrow the conversation to approaches that interest you.

WHAT ARE THE DETAILS? WHERE? WHEN? HOW MANY PEOPLE?

We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options and have a better feel for the resources required.

DO YOU HAVE A BUDGET IN MIND?

If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to provide less than we could realizing the resources that could be made available to better achieve your goals.
