Improv comedy shows provide an alternative to stand-up comedy and your people are never simply left alone on-stage. Instead, they are guided professionally by our Director through a variety of activities that have proven over time to be audience favorites and easy for just about anyone to participate and become an instant star!

BUT WE'RE ACCOUNTANTS!
Whether you are an accountant, a lawyer or even a mortician, believe it or not the more someone is in their shell, the more fun everyone has when they see their fellow employee or friends come out of that shell!

The dynamic here is very different. The audience, made up of your people, knows that the person on stage is one of their own and the expectations are much lower than if a professional comedian were performing. This makes a very accepting audience and has an extremely high success rate as our Director helps guide them to find their way to the funnier elements.

BUT WE HAVE SOME REALLY UNFUNNY PEOPLE!
Another secret about the success of these events is the ability of our Director to see your people and quickly assess who can perform the different activities. Those that we can tell would have more difficulty, we don't choose to perform the activity. This makes the whole process easier an we have ways of bailing on games in the middle without making the participants looking bad if such a choice were accidentally made.

OUR GREEN COMMITMENT While ultimately we serve our clients in the way that they require, we work hard to reduce the carbon footprint of any event. We recycle, utilize local talent when preferable, and look to leave places better than we found them. When we do travel, we take pains to reduce our impact on the environment.

Meetings and Incentives Awards
We can break up the long speeches and boredom that sometimes is associated with such events by bringing up audience members to perform a funny elements along the way as needed. This can be spread out over an evening and can help your banquet attendees to maintain their interest.

WE COME TO YOU !
We come to whatever venue that you choose. This can include any area restaurant, hotel, conference facility, convention hall or even someone's home. We work with the venue to ensure a smooth operation. This includes working with their team to coordinate their sound, stage and lighting. We can provide sound equipment, etc., as well, but for an additional fee, though we usually opt to use the venue's equipment. Of course for smaller groups, no equipment is required and not using microphones enhances the intimacy of the show.

THEY improv can provide improv comedy shows throughout Canada in The GTA (Toronto, Mississauga, Hamilton), the rest of the Golden Horseshoe (Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and St. Catharines), the rest of Ontario (Ottawa, Waterloo Region, Windsor and London), Alberta (Banff, Medicine Hat, Calgary and Edmonton), British Columbia (Vancouver, North Van, West Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Victoria, Kamloops, and Whistler), Quebec (Quebec City, Mont Tremblant, Gatineau, and Montreal), Saskatchewan, Manitoba, the Maritimes (Halifax in Nova Scotia, New Bruswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador), and many other locations. Likewise, our professionals can travel for an additional fee to other parts of the country.

ALBERTA

With Banff as a major destination for corporate retreats, we can provide a wide range of services. We also serve Calgary and Edmonton.

BRITISH COLUMBIA

Whistler is a major destination for corporate retreats and is within range of our Vancouver regional HQ. We also serve the rest of the area and Victoria.

MANITOBA

We can help the companies and clients in Winnipeg as well as through the larger area as needed.

NOVA SCOTIA

We are proud to provide our programs from our regional HQ in Halifax. This allows for major consulting for local companies.

ONTARIO

Toronto is our regional HQ for Ontario, but we are proud to serve Niagara Falls, Mississauga, Ottawa, London and Windsor.

While focused on our English-speaking clients, we provide our programs in Montreal, Quebec City and throughout the province. We serve the market with less providers.

WHAT IS THE OCCASION?

The first step is to determine your needs. This includes potential goals, desires and concerns. The more we know about what has already been decided can allow us to narrow the conversation to approaches that interest you.

WHAT ARE THE DETAILS? WHERE? WHEN? HOW MANY PEOPLE?

We need to know the city where the event will be as well as what kind of venue might be used. A date, or date range, for when you would like to have this and what time frame you are looking for will help to determine our commitment and availability. Knowing the size of your group, though that will likely just be an estimate, will allow us to choose appropriate options and have a better feel for the resources required.

DO YOU HAVE A BUDGET IN MIND?

If you know budget limitations, that can allow us to restrict the conversations to those options that will be within your financial constraints. This works in both directions. We don't want to overbuild and propose options that can't be done. Also, we don't want to provide less than we could realizing the resources that could be made available to better achieve your goals.
